Delroy Redway - Treasurer
Mr. Redway functions as the Assistant Secretary of the Board of the Credit Union and Alternate League Delegate to the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League.
He noted that the Credit Union strengthened his spirit of volunteerism, molded him into an effective administrator and entrepreneur through training offered by the Credit Union movement in financial management and other disciplines. He remains committed to the motto “People helping people”.
Mr. Redway’s volunteer work extends to serving as a Lay Magistrate holding the title of Justice of The Peace, conflict resolution adviser and performing other civic duties. He currently serves as Vice-Chairman on the Board of Management of Browns Town Community College.
Mr. Redway is the Managing Director of Redway’s Hardware & Supplies Limited
His educationed qualifications include a Diploma Elect. Engineering (UTech) and a Diploma Human Resource Management (IMP).
Mr. Redway’s philosophy to life is to “Be positive in your thoughts and action; extend helping hands”.
Vaughn P. McDonald - Secretary
Mr. McDonald functions as Secretary of the Board of the Credit Union and Chairman of the Quality Assurance & Risk Management Committee since April 2006.
He notes that the Credit Union has become a breeding ground for development and grounded appreciation for what happens in the Credit Union movement and the financial sector on a whole. Coupled with that, it encapsulates management development, business processes, policy development, project management, internal audit and delivery of excellent customer service.
Mr. McDonald’s volunteer work extends to other organizations, such as the Human Resource Management Association of Jamaica (HRMAJ) and Kingston College Old Boys Association (KCOBA).
Mr. McDonald holds the position of Human Resource Officer – Industrial Relations at Jamaica Public Service Company Limited.
His educational qualifications include a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Leicester (London, England).
Mr. McDonald’s philosophy to life is “Do right, because it is the right thing to do”.
Fiona Johnson - Assistant Treasurer
Miss Johnson is employed to Jamaica Public Service Company Limited (JPSCo.) as the Customer Care Manager – KSAN. She has been a Director of the Credit Union since April 2009.
She notes that the Credit Union provides the avenue that facilitates one’s ability to purchase things with ease and foster one’s ability to save.
Her educational qualifications include a Masters in Business Administation.
Miss Johnson’s philosophy to life is “One must accept the consequences of their action”.
Joydene Jarrett - General Manager
JOYDENE JARRETT – General Manager
Miss Jarrett functions as the General Manager of the organization and is a former banker. She joined the credit union in January 2004 as the Member Services Manager. She was appointed to the position of General Manager in October 2005.
Over the years, she has combined her love for people, education and finance into an outstanding career that started in teaching, evolved into banking and spans more than two decades.
Her educational qualifications include a B.Sc. in Banking and Finance from the University of Technology, and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Nova Southeastern University
Ms. Jarrett’s philosophy to life is “Disappointment in oneself only stems from the knowledge that we can do better”.
Ms Jarrett is a member of the Kiwanis club of May Pen.
Earl Munroe - Assistant Sectretary
Mr. Earl Munroe was employed to the Jamaica Public Service Company Limited as an engineer in excess of thirty four (34) years. From 2000 – 2010 he worked as a business Consultant and a Director of GENCO Holding Company Ltd.
Mr. Munroe is no stranger to volunteering as since 2003 he has being serving as a member of the Finance and Planning Committee.
Mr. Munroe holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of the West Indies. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and also the Jamaica Welding Institute.
Natalie Sparkes - President
Ms. Natalie Sparkes is an experienced Process Engineer and Manager in the Bayer and Sugar Manufacturing Process. She has been in various roles such Project Manager, Strategic Development Manager, Technical Manager Senior Process Enigineer at Windalco (formerly Alcan) over the past seven (7) years. She also holds a Project Management Professional Certification from PMI.
As an avid volunteer Ms. Sparkes has been an executive in Kiwanis since 1995.
Albert Dawkins J.P. - Vice President
Mr. Dawkins has volunteered at JPS & Partners Co-operative Credit Union Limited for over 10 years. He continues his commited to have the credit union offer optimal Member Service to all our credit union members.
He has played a pivotal role in the Credit union increasing its membership each year that a target is set as a part of the strategic plan of the organization. He is always encouraging existing members to have their relatives join the credit union. The hosting of a Youth Summer Camp each year and an awards function for 30 GSAT students who are awarded bursary by the credit Union is ably chaired annually by this Vice President.
The engineering skills of this Director is utilized in property management activities. He is an engineer by profession, and as such, the Credit Union benefits tremendously from his expertise, jobs are ably monitored by him. This voluntary spirit is also extended to others in the Movement.
In the areas of Community outreach, Mr. Dawkins was instrumental in having the organization adopt the St. Mary’s Basic School and the Central Branch All Age School. He ensures that assistance is always extended where required and when called upon by the school. Visits to these institutions are made by him. Mr. Dawkins is a Justice of the Peace and a certified Mediator.
